Amerada 2008 Web Site and Registration

The 52nd Annual JCI Amerada will be September 5,6,7 in Kirkwood NY, hosted by the JCI Johnson City (NY). The link to the web site and registration is at www.jciamerada.com.


Amerada is a joint "camping" venture between the US and Canadian Jaycees from mostly along the Eastern Part of our two countries. This is the oldest international project other than World Congress.

BIDS FOR MAY 2009 CONVENTION - WANTED!

It is not too early to be thinking about the 2009 Outstanding Young New Yorker Conference of the New York State Junior Chamber!

According to the rotation spelled out in by-law 11.4 the Convention is open for bids to the following counties:

AREA 1: Suffolk, Nassau, Queens, Kings, Richmond, New York, Bronx, Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Putnum.

The rotation will be waived and will be open to the entire state if no bids are received by the JULY Executive Committee Meeting. It is the intent to stay true to the rotation as long as a chapter or region has an intrest in the convention.
